I certainly got the impression that the Tunisia dig was of an old site, that they weren't unearthing recently, buried-by-a-sandstorm polar bear remains. Which leads me to think that time travel is involved remember what I think about Desmond?s ability to ?see? the future ( I don?t think he sees it I think he has been there). Charlotte recognized the Dharma logo, and she seemed happy to see it, like it was proof of a successful experiment.
This is a very interesting idea. They introduced the time element this week with the rocket launching from the ship and getting to Daniel within 2 mins according to the people on the ship but not actually showing up on the island for 31 mins. This can also feed into the fact that the Others, like Richard, look the same almost 30 years later (i.e. not aging or aging slowly).
To throw my own "Bit" in: I think the "Him" that kate mentioned having to return to (when she snuck out to meet Jack) from the last episode of last season is Ben.
